In this document we will review the corporate objectives and the pathway towards having a successful harvest thus producing a ROI for those involved. We at Fraser Valley Hop Farms Inc would like to thank our employee's, contractors and farm share partners. Together we are now the largest hops farm in Canada. In addition to reviewing the objectives outlined in this documentation, senior management would like to extend a more personalized update in the form of a scheduled phone call.
Posted Jan 28, 2019 This month we're cutting down and re stringing fields #1 , #2, #5 and #6. Field 3 is already prepped up and ready to go! We're gearing up for a successful 2019 harvest in September - November of this year to supply local craft breweries with high quality Canadian grown hops. Posted Dec 31, 2018 Happy New Year! An Agassiz grower is expanding to a new total of 75-acres (30.35 hectares) of hops infrastructure. Of which, 46-acres (18.6 hectares) have been planted with Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, Sterling, Triple Pearl and Tahoma hop varieties. The management of FVHF's extends a sincere Thank You! to all staff members, contractors, suppliers and farming partners for the collective effort in 2018 and we look forward to another productive year in 2019.
Posted Nov 20, 2018 At present time we have a total of 46 acres constructed and planted in field #1, #2 and #3. At present time field #4 infrastructure has been completed and our team is building out field #5, which will put us at approximately 75 acres for the new year. Field #1 consists of half Cascade and half Centennial. Thus far we've planted Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, Sterling,Triple Pearl and Tahoma. Next year we'll be planting field #4,#5,#6: Apollo, Galena, Mount Hood, Nugget, Magnum, BC Goldings and East Kent Goldings. And we're still contemplating what varieties the additional fields will be.
